With mental health and stress-related illnesses as one of the most prevalent health concerns for 21st-century students, now is the time to consider incorporating mindful practices into our own classrooms. Not only can students improve their focus in the classroom by participating in these practices, but they can also apply them to their personal lives as a strategy to manage stress and anxiety. This workshop will explore quick and easy tools and ways to incorporate mindfulness into the classroom and explore how it will benefit student mental health as well as classroom performance.
